Basement entrance east north port Huntington New York. Gappsi built the front and the backyard masonry and landscape at this residence. Including a granite amaganset paver driveway and pompei lime stone walkway with Hanover wall for the front stoop and the backyard raised patio. For the pool patio gappsi installed classico travertine pool coping and natural travertine random set patter for the swimming pool patio.
The last part of the outside of the house that needed improvement was the basement entrance, this house basement entrance was much wider then the average basement entrance, measuring 10 wide with 13 eight inches steps to the bottom platform .the bottom platform is 6 feet x 10 feet with a drain in the center connected to a drywell to let all the water that goes down the stairs to drain in to the ground.gappi removed the old basement railing, installed 3inches fiorito travertine to veneer all the exposed poured concrete walls and the step raisers. This veneer is imported and is a product of the gappsi natural stone collection. The entire steps treads and wall caps we used amaganset 12x24x2 inches flamed granite from the gappsi natural stone collection. This home owner was very happy with the result making this basement entrance much more inviting and elegant that is much used during the summer pool season as an entrance to the completely finished basement.
