Passed footing inspection
Poured concrete for footing and placed a 2×4 to form keyway in footing
This will help lock the walls to footing when cement is poured again
Formed walls for foundation
Passed inspection for keyway & walls formed
Poured cement for walls
The walls have 5/8″ j bolts protruding 4″ about every 2′ so when the framing begins,
The sill plate will be mechanically fastened to the foundation by tightening nuts over 3″ square washers on the j bolts
Pulled off forms for foundation walls and damp proofed walls
We apply damp proofing on all walls that have living space above them
This helps to keep moisture from being pushed through the wall by hydrostatic pressure
Passed inspection for damproofing
Back filled foundation walls with excavated dirt to create proper grade
The rat slab or 2″ cement flooring was poured in all crawlspaces over vapor barrier to
further help against moisture from entering the home. It also helps for storage to have
an area with cement floor instead of dirt
