Custom Pond-less Stream waterfall with river, moss rocks, aquatic plants Long Island
A stream water fall could be pond less or with a pond and koi.
Is can be built with river rocks or moss rocks it is built in a long path for the water to travel and create the sound of a natural water stream. The hole gets excavate to create the water reservoir where the pump will be installed to take the water and send it to the top of the water fall in a poly basin to start the water descend and then the water travels all the way down to the reservoir recycling itself.
A liner is installed in the hole to create a tub effect, and under the water stream to keep the water contained and from draining in to the ground. A fabric is installed over the sub base /soil and under the liner to protect the liner from hitting sharp objects and getting punctured. Moss rocks or large boulders are then installed over the liner and to shape and create the natural water bad along with decorating pebble rocks. Aquatic plants are then used to cover and grow over the stones just like you would find in a natural water stream coming down from a mountain in upstate New York.
