How long should a driveway settle before paving

When getting a driveway paved it is very important to make sure that it is completely settled. If a driveway is not settled when you pave it there is a chance that certain spots may sink and crack. Here at Gappsi we will always make sure your driveway is ready to be paved before we do it for we always have our customers in our best interests. Usually a driveway takes about 6 months to settle but everything is circumstantial depending on weather and other factors. Before the installation of your new driveway your current driveway will be stamped and compacted to make sure it is even more ready than before. After the driveway is complete you will also be under warrantee so just incase the driveway wasn’t settled all the way and something occurs it can be fixed. Driveways are one of the first features someone recognizes about a house so make sure you get it done right.
