Residence S. Setauket (Centereach), 11720

This landscape was created with privacy in mind, due to the fact that we installed a new pool and removed all of the existing trees which were creating privacy for the backyard. The new landscape consists of mostly trees to create the privacy requested, so we used two different types to combine texture and color. We planted Leyland Cypress as the background for its fast growth and ‘Emerald Green’ Arborvitaes for the sides of the house for its pyramidal effect. Over 60 evergreen trees were planted to create a green wall for ultimate privacy.

Foundation plantings were installed around the house in the back to dress it up.

The following plant material was installed:

14 – Leyland Cypress 6-7′

50 – Arborvitae ‘Emerald Green’ 4-5′

7 – Arborvitae ‘Yellow Sunkist’ 4-5′

2 – Weeping Cherry Tree 5-6′

3 – Hydrangeas 3 gal.

6 – Yews Densiformas 18″

1 – Deadora Variegated 7-8′

11 – Sky Pencil 3 gal.

3 – Ilex crenata 3 gal.

4 – Burning Bush 3 gal.

2 – Blue Nest Spruce 3 gal.

6 – Ilex Steed 2-3′

3 – Barberry 3 gal.

1 – Hydrangea 5 gal.

5 – Manhattan Euonymus 3 gal.
