This project was designed by Rolando Adamovicz from Gappsi.
The project is a master piece in every way from functionality to material selection to design scale and fine details. this traditional house has a flair of colonial and farm house look and finishes constructed with the finest and modern materials without taking away from it’ traditional look. The siding resembles of the wood look but is hardy planks a cement board that provides great insulation and a tight fit between each panel impassible to enter to even the smallest insect. The coloring of the house is soft and natural the backyard layout is of a stately scaled look to compliment the house and the space available to incorporate all this useful and functional amenities.
the traditional rectangular swimming pool was wisely laid with the side of the property and because it is at an angle with the house and not perpendicular it make the pool closer and allows the dramatic water feature built along side of the back of the pool more visible from every where in the backyard. The water feature incorporates 6 columns 4 sets of stairs and a large 6 feet wide sheer descend. Columns and walls of the 40 feet long water feature are faced with moca veneer travertine and caped with moca travertine full nose.
The step water feature are faced and covered with glass tiles 1 inch x 1 inch square in multicolored. Water trickles down the stairs and out of the sheer descend by way of multiple pumps that take water from the swimming pool bottom drain and push it though the water features creating different sounds of water effect. Henry studio flower pots in different heights and widths are used as focal points accenting the water feature columns and host the beautiful flower and plants arrangements further enhancing and accentuating the stately look of the back yard theme. A pavilion is built over the barbeque cooking area and bar the structure was built to compliment the house and to protect this area from the son making more comfortable for anyone that is under it cooking, sitting at the bar or being there even during the rain. A multi leveled patio defining Avery area and Environment. The self contained spa is dropped down to make look built in very comfortable to be accessed from the main patio and to be easily serviced by the lower area. Columns are built for all light fixtures to sit on every where and under cap evening star wall lights are installed thought the back yard raised walls caps. The landscape planting material is properly sized to the planting beds and colors are perfectly marched to the soft and warm look of the classico and moca travertine selected from the Gappsi stone collection. the fire pit area is just the place where every one want to gather at night and a wood burning fire pit was built with a 24 inches wide sitting walls to accommodate many and caped with moca travertine full nose making it very comfortable to sit on.
Nothing was speared to this back yard oasis from colors to functionality and amenities and safety, that is right safety and also efficiency with the installation of a automatic solar and safety cover by Gappsi swimming pools. This back yard definitely demonstrates
the skills of the designer Rolando Adamovich from design concept to organize all stage of construction to material selection to landscape and plant selection and the craftsmanship of the installers from Kevin Anderson for the pool and auto cover, charles Cocchiola for the pavilion, mike Specchio for the installation of the masonry. Further more, only the Gappsi organization with all the selected services and products could delivered this masterpiece of quality outdoor creation unique design skills, unique talents and craftsmanship and unique products for a very distinctive functional landscape creation at a reasonable price.
