Smithtown village corner of Jericho turn pike and New York Avenue.
This corner of the road is right across the street of the Smithtown town all, the engineering and planning department. And it is also in front of the Smithtown central school administrative building. Gappsi donated the sign, columns and caps and also the entire landscape. The sign structure was built with cinder blocks and veneered with random sizes fiorito travertine veneer selected from the gappsi stone collection.
The caps are manufactured by Nicolock, also in the landscape natural stone boulders were used along with rainbow gravel from the gappsi natural stone collection the colors range from white, beige, brown and yellow, the all natural stone combination has a very soft look, the blend of colorful flowers and green fill in around the entire corner approximately 70 feet long of very distressed property right in the hart of Smithtown. Plants and flower that were used are as fallow:
Flowering Trees:
Cornus kousa

Evergreen:
Buxus koreana, dwarf
Prunus laurocerasus ‘Schipkaensis’
Juniperus chinensis ‘Gold Star’

Flowering Shrubs:
Hydrangea ‘Endless Suammer’
Miscanthesis sinensis ‘Morning Light’
Rosa ‘Knockout’
Spirea ‘Gold Flame’

Perennials:
Hemerocallis ‘Stella D’Oro’

Annuals:

Gappsi turned this corner in to a fine landscaped masterpiece, admired by everyone that passes through the town of Smithtown.
