This job we installed 4 inches of poured concrete base and attached rebar to the house foundation after an extensive compaction. This concrete was poured to prevent settle ling next to the house because the house is new and it was back filled with loose soil. The rest of the patio was installed over recycled concrete base to allow drainage of the water that would get under the pavers. The stoops by the backyard doors were built with Hanover tan blend chapel wall. The front of the stoop was arched and for the step treads we used Hanover chapel wall caps. The stoops platforms and the all patio and walk way to the front of the house up to the driveway were paved with mocha travertine from the Gappsi natural stone collection. The square fire pit and the sitting wall are also built with the Hanover chapel walls and caps but the interior of the fire pit was faced with fire bricks to withstand the heat from the flames.
