Michael Specchio and Peter D’Ambrosio got this job due to poor quality and craftsmanship from the previous patio installer. Due to a poor base preparation of the old patio it looked like an ocean with waves of clay bricks running up and down. We started the job by ripping and removing 1100 sq ft. of the old clay red bricks, then excavating 8″s of the old sand base. We then laid 6 “s of compacted recycled concrete aggregate state material also known as R1 as base for the new patio and walkways. They hand mixed and poured a 12×15 concrete slab 4″s thick for a new shed foundation. We then laid a Nicolock 4 piece country paver (color crab orchid rustico) patio and 2 walkways over a 1” bed of sand with a 6×9 Nicolock border (color oyster blend rustico). We then created two 4 ft wide steps on one of the walkways to shed area using a Nicolock mini colonial wall and colonial cap stone (oyster blend). We regraded and spread throughout property triple screened top soil for the new grade.
