A job in Commack 11725 required new windows so we purchased Anderson 400 series casements to install. We removed the existing windows and made sure there was no water damage. Next we installed new visqueen around the the sill and to sides. We now applied window silicone around all four sides of the window flange and set the window into the opening. We checked to make sure the bottom of the window was level and nailed it in place. Next we checked for plumb & square then nailed the remaining sides off completely. Now we filled the interior gaps with low expansion spray foam. We installed an extention jamb to bring it flush with the Sheetrock. A 2 1/2″ colonial casing was used to finish off the window as a picture frame style.
