Rock Salt as ice melt: corrosive-recommended-good-suggested-negative

By Giuseppe abbrancati

Rock salt on pavers could be to strong and could damage the pavers
Because the salt grain are big in sizes and as the melt would releases a over concentrate amount of salt in a small area and this would allow the concrete or any surface to absorbe it and get effected by it .porous surfaces get affected more then more solid surfaces.
The best products to use are finer granular ice melt; they are more effective on the snow and less corrosive for the paved surface.
