Stamped concrete is pretty much what it sounds like, a cement base is laid and then with an imprinted pattern it is laid over the wet cement, the cement is then stamped with the specific design. There are 100’s of different designs that can be used. Most commonly used ones are the ones to resemble pavers, bluestone and natural stones. Because the stamped concrete is used with dyes, it is highly recommended to seal the stamped concrete area at least once every 4 years.
The greatest part about concrete stamping is the designs and patterns are endless as well as shapes and colors. Different colors and patterns can be combined on one project to achieve a very realistic stone. The process of concrete stamping has greatly improved over the years letting us be able to create some very unique things.
