Starting with removal of old decks and railroad tie walls, the construction of this new asphalt basketball court replaced the lower level of this client’s backyard that was originally hard to access. New walls were built and new pewter nicolock border was installed as a reinforcement for the asphalt edge. 8 inches of state approved RCA was installed and compacted and 2 inches of new asphalt was then installed and rolled over. One basketball hoop, one court light, a regulation key was striped on the asphalt floor, and a black chain link fence was installed around court, along with a row of arborvitaes and skip laurels complete the landscaping around the court.

These 2 bocce ball courts were resurfaced using our deluxe package of synthetic turf and silica sand. The original bocce courts were built with a clay surface and the residents in this gated community complained for years about the pour drainage that the courts had. On some days, they were not even able to use the courts because they were not fully dry. After the removal of the clay, and the installation of the new synthetic grass surface, the residents have been playing on the courts every day.

I have been involved with construction many, many times and we never ever had to come home to find something was not done right. The excavation, pool walls, leveling, removal of dirt, trees, forms, electric, gravel delivery, stone delivery, design of patio, fireplace, outdoor kitchen walls, stone decorative walls, coping and every other piece of the project completely 100% of the time we never had a problem with the completion not being exactly as we discussed during our appointments. We had many different aspects and the crew was one of the most professional and especially expert in their trade. The pool was completed to perfection including the stairs, stone, lights, filter, heater and liner (without any wrinkles in the final installation). The electric pool cover was something we had not originally planned for and we are so happy it was explained to us. If we had not done the electric pool cover, we would constantly be cleaning and heating the pool. Again it was a slight challenge due to the extended size of the pool, but attention to every detail and research was done to be sure it would be implemented correctly. It was and it is well worth the extra cost because it saves in the long run. I would highly recommend this. Giuseppe promised to deliver the entire package with the various experts all pulling together and he did. I would more than highly recommend GAPPSI in pools, patios and any home improvement contract is works on. This is like the academy awards Giuseppe! I hope I have mentioned everyone and all aspects of the job to thank everyone involved. It was PERFECT!
