One very challenging, commercial design project executed by gappsi is the Water Falls of Ronkonkoma.
The Water Falls is a senior citizen retirement complex located at 400 Cassata Rd, Ronkonkoma, Long Island, NY.
The club house for this 360 unit apartment complex is a 10,000 sq ft building with game rooms and restaurant, dining rooms and dance floor where all residents can entertain family and friends with parties and activities.
The outdoors are just breathtaking. Gappsi designed and installed this project.
An extensive amount of retaining walls were needed for slopes and multilevel areas.
Retaining walls can help overcome a multitude of design and construction obstacles.
This site presented many challenges.
The sloped property made possible the creation of this breathtaking water fall, stream, fountains and ponds. This up scale water feature is a unique, Long Island landmark called The Water Falls of Ronkonkoma .The water fall is about 500 ft long and it drops about 50 ft from the top to the bottom pool .A 100 ft wide collecting pool is the reservoir for all the water that is needed for this spectacular landmark. This outdoor setting incorporates outdoor barbeque areas and lounging area with couches where people can relax and enjoy this beautiful, natural setting. One million pounds of Long Island boulders, moss rocks were used for the retaining walls and bluestone treads and nicolock paving stones. The pavers were installed for walkways and patios. We specialize in custom designing of paving stone pavement by Giuseppe Abbrancati and are executed by Gappsi installers. Multiple water fall pumps were used to keep the water flow stay in high volume.
The water fall of Ronkonkoma is definitely a remarkable landscape creation that blends natural stones, manufactured paving stones and retaining walls. This is a super structure of water features, a Gappsi creation of an accurate imitation of nature..
