This fire pit was built with cinder block and veneered with Eldorado cultured stones. A U-Shaped sitting wall with two end columns were also installed around the fire pit. Blue stone double-sided rock faced coping were installed to complete the top of the fire pit, the walls, and columns. The columns also serve as pedestal for accent lighting, and the colors of the noce travertine for the pool patio and coping were a perfect contrast to make the fire pit area stand out.

This 6×6 porcelain tiles we installed over 2 inches of mud floor and glued with thinset. Being in a tight area and with many drains to collect the water when floor gets washed the small 6×6 tiles best fit the slopes. Floor joists had to be reinforced and secured with extra lumber, to be able to handle the extra weight of the new floor and the commercial kitchen equipment. Fire place built indoor by Gappsi in Commack NY. With wood burning chamber veneered with firebricks. The structure was framed with metal studs and fireproofed cement boards. 16 ft high fireplace walls were then veneered with Fiorito travertine Multi sizes mixed. The fireplace hearth and shelves were custom cut from sandstone treads. Shelves installed half way in the wall add dimension to the wall and make easier to decorate with flower vase, pictures and Christmas decoration
