By A Happy Gappsi Customer
Gappsi installed classico travertine for our pool patio and built steps for both of the sliding doors in the backyard that come on to the pool patio. With tan bland hanover walls and they used travertine full nose for the pool coping. I am absolutely thrilled with my backyard. He and his team made sure every detail was attended to and every issue resolved. The Reiman Family

Commack Swimming Pools: Coping, Patios, Walkways, Steps, Driveways
clients review about gappsi ;Commack Swimming Pools: Coping, Patios, Walkways, Steps, Driveways long island .I am writing this letter to let you know how happy my family and I are with the outside of our new home. Your design team made our backyard pool and patio area look like a summer resort. And it was so nice to see the design pictures of how the job was going to look before you even started. Farah really knows how to work that computer software. We love the Naturale travertine (random pattern) that you suggested and installed. Aside from its natural beauty, it does not get hot in the sun nor does it get slippery when wet. In our prior home, we had pavers around the pool and we promised ourselves we would never do that again, because when the sun was out the pavers got too hot to walk on without shoes. Although we have not yet used the fire-pit, we really enjoyed using the outside kitchen and bar area. We loved the way you created a raised patio off the kitchen for outside entertaining and a lower patio for the pool area. It was also a great idea to have our hot tub on the lower patio, but accessible from the upper patio. The Classico full nose coping around the pool and the upper patio and stairs really complements the Naturale travertine. Although I have not yet installed the fountain and lighting on the piers, the backyard still looks gorgeous. I really like the design idea to put a planting bed on the raised patio to break-up the upper and lower patio areas. I knew I had hired the right company when you suggested that we install the extended fence posts for our PVC fence first and that you would build the retaining walls along the back of my property around the posts. We needed the retaining wall along the back of the pool, because the pool company that I had used set the pool too high. In hindsight, it would have been much better if we had used Gappsi for everything (including my pool). I’m glad that you suggested that we do the project in stages – first the backyard and then the driveway and the front stairs and walkway. The driveway is absolute beautiful. The 6×9 tumbled granite (amaganset color) was definitely the right choice. It really complements the cultured stone in the front of the house, and coordinates nicely with the Hanover six-foot columns that you installed to accentuate the estate fence as you enter the backyard. What a grand entrance! We are also extremely happy with the limestone (Pompeii) and granite (amaganset) walkway and front stairs. They really tie the granite driveway into the front walkway. I know you spend a lot of time making design changes to the front of the house until we had a design layout was perfect. Rolando, your Landscaping Director, is amazing. He even helped coming up with several design options. I also really like his landscape design so much that we hired him to do the front and backyard landscaping. It was really good having Rolando involved early because he helped with the grading of the backyard after the pool was installed. What more can I say about your company? From the design team, to the masonry guys and the landscapers, everyone at Gappsi was unbelievable. I know the entire project was involved (backyard, driveway, front stairs and walk-way, landscaping, and loop loc cover), but everyone was great, especially the masonry guys. I spent the most time with them and I can actually say I was sad to see them leave. They were such nice guys. They were very hardworking (always arriving on time) and great craftsmen. They really took pride in their work and really wanted us to be happy with the end result, which we definitely are. The end product looks even better than the computer generated pictures, if that’s possible. Giuseppe, there are not many businessmen like you any more. You really want your customers to be happy. Please know that any time you want someone to see your work, you can call us. They can see firsthand, the workmanship and quality of the products that you provide. My sincerest thanks, Karen Mahoney

Free form Swimming pool: Nicolock, patio, coping East Northport
We were planning on getting a swimming pool for many years, and therefore had many, estimates by other pool companies. I originally had no idea that Gappsi installed pools, until a friend recommended Giuseppe. We called on a Saturday morning to set up an estimate and Giuseppe showed up at 2 pm that day! Because of Giuseppe’s clear vision and honesty in explaining the cost of everything, we were sold. We started the permit process and the pool was started 1 week after getting the permits. We have 4 children who were more than anxious for their pool to be done. The hole was dug on May 5th and my kids were swimming in their pool on June 6th. As for the paving….the job was far superior to any other paving job we have had done. The men were meticulous and extremely professional…every cut is perfect. As a matter of fact, I don’t even want the loop-loc cover because I don’t want metal screws drilled into my perfectly beautiful patio! I have recommended Gappsi to my friends and family and will continue to do so. Thank you Giuseppe for the beautiful addition to our back yard! The Morawski Family

Happy customers of natural travertine paving stones long island
Last summer, Gappsi designed and installed the patioscape around our new in-ground pool and the results are beautiful.
We had considered cement pavers, but Guiseppe and his professional staff suggested travertine pavers as an alternative. As we walked around his indoor and outdoor showroom, we were very impressed with the beauty of the natural stone.
After considering the project for some time, with the Gappsi team patiently answering all our questions, we decided on the Noce-colored, 6×12 travertine pavers. We chose the travertine because we loved the look, its naturally slip resistance and its coolness to the touch even in full sun on 90-degree days. We selected the same travertine paver for the full-nosed coping for the smoothness of the finish. A large waterfall anchors the pool, and the sound of its cascading waters contributes greatly to the relaxing atmosphere.
One of our project’s challenges was the downward slope of our yard. The Gappsi crew did a fantastic job leveling out the area surrounding the pool to ensure the integrity of the patio. Giuseppi designed and created a 2-foot retaining and sitting wall with Hanover stones that perfectly complements the travertine patio. The centerpiece of the patio is the expansive firepit, also made of Hanover stones. The firepit allowed us to use our pool area long after the swimming season passed.
As the last piece of the project, Gappsi removed an old wooden deck off the sliding doors of the house and created lovely steps matching Hanover walls of the patio for a seamless hardscape.
Working with Giuseppe was a pleasure and we couldn’t be happier with our Gappsi patio.
