Gappsi designed and constructed this backyard in West Hampton, NY. This project was created to be simple, elegant, and functional that includes many amenities.
Gappsi built a 20 x 40 vinyl swimming pool as well as a large pavilion built on a raised patio. This area can alternatively be used to place a dinner table and a seating area. In addition, this includes an outdoor kitchen incorporating Twin Eagle appliances. All of the patios were paved with French Pattern Silver Travertine in addition to the pool coping and step treads were built with Moca Travertine. The pavilion is completed with Azek synthetic trims and columns, vinyl soffits, and siding to match the existing house. Lastly, a mesh safety fence was installed around swimming pool.

This project was designed and installed by Gappsi in Smithtown NY. We starting with the construction of the free-form vinyl swimming pool, new stoops built by the backyard sliding doors, and approximately 2,000 sq ft of flamed Amagansett granite pavers and pool coping. Amagansett granite is a very colorful stone containing different colors: white, yellow, peach, gold, and brown shades. It makes a perfect to match any surrounding landscape and outdoor furniture. Amagansett Granite paving stones bring some life to the backyard with its pleasant and colorful blend.

The colors of the pavers compliment the stucco and roof tiles of the custom house and its unique shape and style.

The gunite swimming pool has a rectangular shell with a bench on the long side of the pool, a sundeck with a bubbler, steps, and a spa. Spillover water bowls also function as fire features. The swimming pool is 8 feet deep, and includes a diving board and a safety auto cover. The backyard is elegant, functional, and simple. The Fiorito travertine patio for the fire pit area, the pavilion floor, and the pool patio area were bordered with blue stone strips to match the swimming pool coping. The pavilion was built by Gappsi and was designed to match the house style and details. The outdoor kitchen was built with Wolf cabinets and Twin Eagle appliances, and it was veneered with Fiorito travertine to match the pillars that hold the fire bowls and the fire-pit. Blue stone stepping stones were used as a walkway to connect the backyard doors and patio to the front yard.
