When the client decided to create an entertaining backyard. They contacted us to design a backyard paradise. We discussed many ideas and looked at different layouts. Working together we designed a plan that gave the clients what we were looking for at a budget they could afford. We put ideas in to a 3D layout so the clients could see what the project was going to look like. The project construction began with building the swimming pool, then the masonry work and a very functional pool house, where the clients eat dinner all summer long. The project included a hot tub and fire pit to keep backyard fun going all year long and it also included a half-court basketball court which they use all the time.

Fire Pit & Pondless Fountain w/ Fire features Built by Gappsi on Long Island
This private residence located on Long Island, NY features the design & installation by Gappsi Group. The focus of the design is centered around the circular natural stone raised patio for the fire pit and seating area, which overlooks a pondless waterfall with veneered natural stone columns and fire feature bowls on either post. The patio and wall veneer both feature a marbleized travertine stone & coping. All construction and installation was completed by our highly skilled Gappsi Group team members.

Gunite Spillover Spa by Gappsi
This pool house and patio of a private residence located on Long Island, features the design and construction, from concept to completion, by Gappsi Group. The quaint pool house is outlined with planting beds holding short voluminous green shrubs, with sweet and understated pink flowers adding a splash of color. The large gunite pool was custom designed and strategically plotted at the ideal location within the property survey. The pool’s amorphous shape is reminiscent of a natural lagoon, creating a tranquil environment. The custom-built natural stone spa, with an accompanying Scogli Di Mare Limestone step only adds to the serenity. The patio surrounding the pool and spa is made up of an array of mocha french pattern travertine, and lined with matching coping. The finishing touch on this backyard design, as well as an added entertainment factor, is the custom-built outdoor fire pit.
