This backyard is designed and constructed by Gappsi in West Islip, Long island NY 11795. The layout incorporates a 18×36 gunite swimming pool rectangular shape. The swimming pool is only 6 feet deep and is a non-diving pool, thus a diving board cannot be installed. The steps are built along side the 18 foot long shallow area and it also has 2 benches in the deep end to exit the pool. The finish of the swimming pool is done with black-colored quartz dust. Two LED lights are installed on one side and the hydraulic system, consisting of two skimmers and 2 inch 40 schedule PVC [gravityform id=”1″ title=”true” description=”true”]plumbing.
Hayward equipment is installed including a gas heater, VS pump, cartridge filter, salt-chlorine generator, and an automation control panel. The swimming pool also has a safety auto cover and a mesh winter cover. The coping and patio consists of 2 inch thick, flamed Pennsylvania bluestone for the pool coping, and 1 inch flagging for the remainder of the patio. On one side of the swimming pool, there is no patio and the grass comes up to the pool edge. There is also a pool cabana built and an outdoor cooking island. The landscaping, including flowers, grass, and trees. The pool and patio design is created to compliment the Hamptons-style home, finished with natural, weathered cedar shingles.

Pool house pavilion/garage combination built in Dix Hills, NY with cedar shake shingles impression vinyl siding and 30 year architectural brown shingles. Part of the structure has a garage door to the driveway and an overhanging pavilion facing the pool and backyard. The garage was built with extra height to accommodate a car lift. Trim and columns were finished with Azek, masonry piers and BBQ island, with a grill refrigerator and bar sink, constructed with Moca travertine veneers. The large free form swimming pool was built with concrete walls and a liner, a shallow deep end to accommodate the SRS Slide, 3 sheer descents built in the raised wall on the back side of the pool, concrete steps covered with a textured liner, a deep end bench, a standing ledge, an LED light, gas heater, salt water chlorine system, and full automation. Approximately 3,000 sq ft of Moca travertine pavers were used for the entire backyard, and the deck leading to the house was constructed with Timbertech. This 16’x32′ freeform gunite swimming pool custom constructed in Massapequa NY. The pool shell consists of 10″ concrete walls and an 8″ concrete floor. The pool was shot with gunite cement, over 6″ of over sized gravel base, 12 inches on center, 1/2” rebar metal cage and 6″ apart center rods in any areas that the pool is deeper than 48”. All plumbing is done with 2″ hard PVC schedule 40 piping. All of the equipment is Hayward including 400,000 BTU gas heater, a salt chlorine generator, ozone system, pumps, and cartridge filter. The pool is 46″ to 66″ deep which makes it a non-diving pool. In the deep end of the pool, there is a bench with special jets through which air and water are pushed at a higher speed to create a spa effect. Porcelain pool tiles were installed at the water line; the finish of the pool is cool blue diamond bright quartz. The steps and benches were highlighted with diamond shaped 2”x2” tiles. The coping patio and raised patio wall were created with Nicolock products. 6”x12″ bullnose, ridge stone patio pavers with brown inlays and mini colonial walls and caps are all in travertine color. Gunite swimming pool was constructed with 10 inches concrete wall shell and 8 inches gunite floor. With ½ inches rebar 12 inches on center, radiuses built in gunite shell spa has been built in the center of shallow end with sundecks on each side of it with steps that lead in the pool. Along both side of the 40 ft wall a stand ledge was created in the pool floor to allow small kids to cross the pool by walking on it. The deep end of the swimming pool incorporates 2 sets of corner stairs and a bench connecting them both.
