Racquetball is a racquet sport and a team sport played with a hollow rubber ball on an indoor or outdoor court. The modern sport of racquetball uses a stringed racquet to paddle the ball to increase velocity and control. Unlike most racquet sports, such as tennis and badminton, there is no net to hit the ball over. Unlike squash, there is no tin (out-of-bounds area at the bottom of the front wall) to hit the ball above. In addition, the court’s walls, floor, and ceiling are legal playing surfaces, except court-specific designated hinders being out-of-bounds.

Red and blue colored tiles are used to define the key and the field, white striping for the 3 point line. A paver border is installed to reinforce the asphalt edges and also to decorate and frame the basketball court.
