Travertine Supplier & Installer For Nassau & Suffolk County Long Island NY-GappsiCustom designed pool with auto cover and travertine patio in East Hills New York 11577 This is a concrete wall liner pool with built in stairs and wall ladder fitted with an automatic cover. This cover acts as a safety cover as well as a money saver by keeping the cost of running the pool down. When not in use the auto cover in the closed position will help keep the pool clean protect it from the sun rays from robbing the chemicals within the pool as well as act like a solar cover keeping it warm like a blanket. The Gappsi team designed installed and landscaped all you see here. First the pool was poured using our aluminum forms and concrete, then a four inch concrete base was used four feet around the pool before the patio was laid. Using our Moca colored travertine with full nosed natural stone coping the team created a soft and classical look to this pool patio. With the addition of arborvitaes, small Japanese maples and plums trees to the landscape we injected color and life to what would have been blank slate. The natural stone travertine patio is a soft cream and chocolate color that is cool to the touch and textured to bring depth when looking at it. The larger French pattern was used with four varying sizes to give a random configuration to the patio.

Swimming Pool Moss Rocks waterfall Built By Gappsi Landscaping on Long Island NY

Swimming Pool Moss Rocks waterfall Built By Gappsi Landscaping on Long Island NYHere we see a free formed pool and patio with a cascading waterfall feature that has been designed and installed by the professionals of The Gappsi Group. From start to finish Gappsi design team along with the homeowner came up with a simple, balanced, and beautiful to meet their needs for their backyard oasis. Located in Cold Spring Harbor 11724 Long Island, a town bordering Nassau and Suffolk counties and home to picturesque parklands this property was a designer’s dream, flat open space to create and carve out a natural looking pool and patio separate from the house. Starting with the pool our team created a custom free form 18’x 40’ concrete wall hard bottom pool with the steps incorporated into the walls. The homeowner chose a tan pebble bottom liner to emulate the light blue waters of the Caribbean With a need for the sound of rushing water from the customer Gappsi incorporated a two tier waterfall that spills into the pool. The tranquil ambient noise can make any stressful day disappear within a five minute lounging next to it. Bring a book and grab some sun and get lost for hours on the patio. Using Nicolock Toscana paver in oyster blend brings an old world feel to this yard. The random sizes with their tumbled edges adds texture that makes a brand new patio look like it’s been there for years.
When it is time to close the pool our custom fit Loop-Loc cover fits over the pool like a glove as well as gets anchored to along the waterfall for a tight fit. Gappsi recommended a storage shed for all the patio furniture equipment and diving board, and had our Craftsmen build a shed to match the home. To bring balance to the entire project our skilled team of landscapers brought in beautiful shrubs and plants to brighten and liven up the yard with color and lush grasses that makes the waterfall look even grander. Add some small annuals in the small planting bed near the pool for seasonal flowers that the homeowner can plant themselves gives a personal touch to their yard. After all the hardscape and planting was done our team than seeded the surrounding area with Kentucky blue for a lush grass to grow. To complete your landscapes outdoor Sports and recreations Gappsi offers Bocce Courts, Putting greens, Sports and Tennis Courts also supply and installation of Synthetic Turf. Granite Driveway Pavers by Gappsi on Long Island NY

Granite Driveway Pavers by Gappsi on Long Island NYthis Split level Ranch or Splanch had many obstacles to overcome when trying to redesign the front entrance. The customer came to Gappsi for our design and expertise in the masonry and landscape forum. With keeping cost down and designing a multi-use entranceway from three sides of this slender sized property was the biggest challenge we had to undertake. After a few hours of designing and redesigning the customer and the team here at Gappsi design center nailed down the perfect combination to suit this homes updating project. While at the showroom the customer also had the chance to glance and browse Gappsi Signature Natural Stone selection and fell in love with our Amagansett granite paver. With design and material chosen, Gappsi’s masonry division expertly built and installed what you see here. A full two car driveway in a 90 degree herringbone pattern with soldier course border inlaid with a 45 degree herringbone walkway adds contrast and designates which area is which while still using the same medium of stone is the largest revitalization portion of this job. The main platform entrance from the driveway has two sets of steps on either side to access the main entrance of the home from either the walkway on the right as well as from the driveway. Leading up towards the main door another platform was built to meet the homes entrance, notice the absence of rails. To soften the large structure two columns and an eighteen inch planter wall with creeping ground covers and accent annuals as well as two side planter beds were added into the design bringing life and color to the project. These side planters have a dual purpose, by designing these planters the homeowner did not need to install hand rails due to height issues, which in turn saved them money. Using hanover wall system to compliment and add a vertical contrast to the natural stone paver the project blends two different materials seamlessly together with the existing home as the canvas. Curb appeal was achieve and the value of this home has been increase bringing joy not only to the current homeowners but to future homeowners as well with this timeless design and material choice.
