This project involves the installation of a custom-built gunite swimming pool in Huntington Bay on Long Island, NY. After the excavation of pool, we start the process of installing steel rebars. Upon completion this gunite swimming pool will have a built in spa, sun deck and custom benches along the perimeter of the pool, as well as an auto cover and several fire features incorporated in the design. Additional design details include; spill over water features, and deck jets installed under the natural stone coping. All construction and installation will be completed by our highly skilled Gappsi Group team members.

This private residence located on Long Island, NY features the design & installation by Gappsi Group. The image to the left pictures our team applying a custom Quartzite finish on a beautifully designed Gunite pool and spa which overlooks the water on the Sag Harbor sound. The pool walls were built with Gunite shot in place that consisted of high density 4000 PSI sand and cement mix. The Quartzite finish is applied during the last stage of the pool’s construction. In this case, the customer also chose to have a Jandy Aquapure Salt Water Chlorine Generator, and Cartridge Filter installed to keep their water extra clean and crystal clear.
This pool house and patio of a private residence located on Long Island, features the design and construction, from concept to completion, by Gappsi Group. The quaint pool house is outlined with planting beds holding short voluminous green shrubs, with sweet and understated pink flowers adding a splash of color. The large gunite pool was custom designed and strategically plotted at the ideal location within the property survey. The pool’s amorphous shape is reminiscent of a natural lagoon, creating a tranquil environment. The custom-built natural stone spa, with an accompanying Scogli Di Mare Limestone step only adds to the serenity. The patio surrounding the pool and spa is made up of an array of mocha french pattern travertine, and lined with matching coping. The finishing touch on this backyard design, as well as an added entertainment factor, is the custom-built outdoor fire pit.
