G44 Blue Limestone Patio built by GappsiGappsi installed this back patio using G44 blue limestone for the kitchen area. We also installed white PVC fencing with a gate for the entire perimeter of the house. We installed this with an enclosure on the other side. We also installed synthetic turf to avoid any machinery to go to the back. We also used G044 blue limestone to install a back patio coming back off the extension of the house.

In this particular installation, Gappsi designed a large deck to accommodate a sitting area for couches on one side and a Catalina freestanding spa built on a concrete platform. The mahogany Timbertech deck was built around it. The sides all around the deck are also covered and sealed with Timbertech material. Two PVC pergolas are built over the deck to create shade on sunny days, one over the spa and the other over the sitting area. In this particular installation we built a 30 x 30 basketball court. Eight inches of soil was excavated and removed from the site, then six inches of recycled concrete base was installed and compacted with a heavy mechanical plate. A 6×9 Nicolock paving stone border was installed around the perimeter to outline the edge of the court, which also reinforces the asphalt and keeps it from cracking in the future. An adjustable, regulation-size basketball hoop was installed, and across from it on the other side of the court, a flood light was installed on a 14 ft tall pole for the homeowners to be able to use the court at night. A net can also be attached to the poles to play volleyball. The asphalt was left unpainted and unsealed at the client request.
