How The Breeo Smokeless Fire Pit Works
How The Breeo Smokeless Fire Pit WorksThe Breeo Smokeless Fire Pits work through a double-wall, secondary combustion design. When the fire is burning, the walls heat up and the hot air rises through the gap between the two walls, exiting through the line of holes around the rim. This pressurized, heated oxygen mixes with the smoke and causes it to burn. This secondary combustion is what causes your fire to be smokeless.
Breeo stoves are designed to be smokeless. They have raised air vents at the bottom, allowing more airflow to the base of your fire. When fed more oxygen, the fire burns hotter, leaving low carbon emissions from the burn chamber.
The fire pits come with a double wall design, letting in more oxygen to the double wall when heated by fire. Hot air rises through these double walls to exit through the holes lining the rim. Once the hot air is released out of the holes, it mixes with smoke and causes secondary combustion. Secondary combustion means the carbon-containing materials are re-burned to minimize the number of particulates floating in the air. This creates a smokeless experience.

To get the cover or not to get the cover? Please be advised that the covers for Breeo fire pits are available for purchase separately. Many customers ask do you need a cover? In our opinion YES. Here is why. You and your family are enjoying a great night outdoors, toasting marshmallows over your smoke-less fire pit. You are getting tired but just about 10 minutes ago you put another piece of wood inside the fire pit so the fire is still burning. What do you do? Do you walk away and leave it burning? Never!
