In this particular installation, Gappsi designed a large deck to accommodate a sitting area for couches on one side and a Catalina freestanding spa built on a concrete platform. The mahogany Timbertech deck was built around it. The sides all around the deck are also covered and sealed with Timbertech material. Two PVC pergolas are built over the deck to create shade on sunny days, one over the spa and the other over the sitting area. Over the summer, I decided to build the backyard of my dreams. After seeing Gappsi’s portfolio of backyard renovations, I was beyond impressed with their expertise in masonry work and design. My vision for the backyard was the “Four Seasons” hotel. I wanted an atmosphere that felt like you were on vacation. After meeting Giuseppe the owner, I knew I was in good hands. I appreciated his knowledge and detailed explanations. Emanuelle, Giuseppe’s son created several designs of my backyard that specifically tailored to all my needs and more! Their showroom had a great variety of stones to choose from. I decided to use “mocha” travertine for my patio and “classico” travertine for my pool coping. I wanted a water feature that felt upscale. Giuseppe advised me to install several jets that would spray from the ground into the pool. This idea was brilliant! He recommended “Nantucket” stacked stone on the raised foundation walls around my entire home. I wanted my backyard to have 2 grand entrances that had matching “wedding cake” staircases, using both mocha and classico travertine. We decided to build a small retaining wall around my entire backyard to polish and accentuate my thuja green giants backdrop. The retaining wall also created an enormous amount of seating for entertaining which I loved!! Roberto was the foreman assigned to my backyard project. Roberto and his crew were fantastic. They worked around the clock to meet my deadline. Their workmanship was meticulous. They delivered the elegance and sophistication I wanted! This project was very expensive but totally worth the investment! Giuseppe surpassed my expectations!! My backyard blows the four seasons away

Gappsi designed and constructed this backyard in West Hampton, NY. This project was created to be simple, elegant, and functional that includes many amenities.
Gappsi built a 20 x 40 vinyl swimming pool as well as a large pavilion built on a raised patio. This area can alternatively be used to place a dinner table and a seating area. In addition, this includes an outdoor kitchen incorporating Twin Eagle appliances. All of the patios were paved with French Pattern Silver Travertine in addition to the pool coping and step treads were built with Moca Travertine. The pavilion is completed with Azek synthetic trims and columns, vinyl soffits, and siding to match the existing house. Lastly, a mesh safety fence was installed around swimming pool.

The old railroad tie retaining wall was removed and re-constructed with a poured reinforced-concrete wall. It was then veneered with tumbled travertine split-face veneers and finished on top with 12 inch wide, 2 inch thick travertine coping. Sheer descent water features were also installed in the wall over the center spilling into the pool.

A 16×16 pavilion was custom-built over the outdoor cooking area, completed with stained wood beams in the ceiling and all synthetic wood trims wrapping the four columns and fascia.
The entire backyard floor and pool patio was completed with Moca tumbled french pattern travertine. The outdoor lighting is designed and installed to uniformly light up the backyard and accent each area. This backyard is designed and constructed by Gappsi in West Islip, Long island NY 11795. The layout incorporates a 18×36 gunite swimming pool rectangular shape. The swimming pool is only 6 feet deep and is a non-diving pool, thus a diving board cannot be installed. The steps are built along side the 18 foot long shallow area and it also has 2 benches in the deep end to exit the pool. The finish of the swimming pool is done with black-colored quartz dust. Two LED lights are installed on one side and the hydraulic system, consisting of two skimmers and 2 inch 40 schedule PVC [gravityform id=”1″ title=”true” description=”true”]plumbing.
Hayward equipment is installed including a gas heater, VS pump, cartridge filter, salt-chlorine generator, and an automation control panel.
