We built a 13×90 regulation bocce court. The construction was done with pressure treated lumber as a framer around the entire court. A recycled concrete base and bluestone to level the surface. Gappsi bocce grass was used as the surface and filled with silica sand. This synthetic turf was custom made specifically for Gappsi. This waterfall it’s been designed and built by Gappsi in Lake Grove NY as part of a large backyard project that includes a custom gunite swimming pool, pavilion, patio, and full landscaping. Natural Long Island boulders were used for the risers and bluestone shelves for the water cascades. We created steps on both sides of the grotto, on the waterfall side, and by the slide, for the kids to get to the top of the grotto and jump in the pool. For the landscaping, we used small plants and grasses to decorate the waterfall and slide, and evergreens along the back to create privacy from the neighboring house.
Backyard designed and Installed by Gappsi in Asharoken NY. Included a 12×36 gunite pool with marble coping. Limestone G44 for the patio and an auto cover. We used super blue diamond bright for the pool finish on the steps and benches; we used the tiles indicators. The pool is equipped with a badu jet to swim against or just exercise. The pool is only 3 to 6 feet deep, This is one of the most beautiful properties on Long Island. The house has a waterfront in the front house and the backyard.
16×32 Vinyl pool, with concrete walls. We Build two corner stairs in the shallow area. To create a larger shallow area and a flat wall between the two steps for swimmers to flip . The autocover rolled into the G44 blue limestone pavers and coping. Very popular and famous limestone. We completed the all backyard with synthetic grass, which also works as a patio. We build a basketball court with metflex tiles over a concrete base. We utilized every inch of the backyard to make more of a playground for the kids.
This residential project was designed and installed by Gappsi in Lindenhurst NY. From the driveway apron to the backyard patio, a combination of many colors and patterns were used to create inlays and designs. Granite City Stone Ridge Pavers were installed on the driveway apron, the concrete sidewalk was replaced, and the inlay with pewter colored plank paver and charcoal border outlines the driveway, walkway, and circle inlay. Granite City Mini Colonial wall was installed on the front stoop with bluestone copings. A combination of Granite City and Westchester blend was used to pave the driveway up to the backyard entrance.
