We started with the design that included a new porch and portico by the backyard sliding door, a new pavilion, and a cooking island with a raised bar sitting area. Our first encounter with Giuseppe occurred almost 14 years ago when another contractor left us with a pile of material and unfinished work. A friend recommended we contact Gappsi. After visiting our home and seeing our plight Giuseppe told us not to worry. Within days, he and his crew were at our home removing all the substandard work and installing new pavers around our pool and constructing a new patio. 9/11 Memorial Donated and built by Gappsi at the Commack high school
Custom designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati, and built by Gappsi, this 9/11 memorial site sits in front of the Commack high school football field. Engraved pavers, all made of flamed granite, were placed along the walkway’s borders, along with benches, and a pedestal on which a part of a steel beam from the twin towers was mounted on. Synthetic grass filled in the remaining areas. This site remains present every day to remember those from the Commack Smithtown and Huntington community whose lives were affected during 9/11 tragedies.

Basketball court built on a gravel base in Commack NY by Gappsi.
The finish surface of the court is Snap sports Tiles. These tiles are manufactured of polypropylene plastic, and they come in many different colors.in this court we used a combination of dark green and blue, outlined with white stripes. An adjustable regulation hoop with protective foam cushion was used to wrap the pole for safety. A Nicolock mini-colonial wall was built with steps to retain the soil on one long side of the basketball court due to the grade change, since the court was built in a sloped area, this wall was capped with bullnose pavers making it also useful for sitting.

Starting with the installation of a free-formed swimming pool, natural waterfall cooking island outdoor kitchen and a large patio built with golden brown Nicolock rustico pavers. The outdoor kitchen walls were constructed with Nicolock mini colonial walls oyster blend and all Twin Eagle appliances.
