Gappsi designed and constructed this backyard in West Hampton, NY. This project was created to be simple, elegant, and functional that includes many amenities.
Gappsi built a 20 x 40 vinyl swimming pool as well as a large pavilion built on a raised patio. This area can alternatively be used to place a dinner table and a seating area. In addition, this includes an outdoor kitchen incorporating Twin Eagle appliances. All of the patios were paved with French Pattern Silver Travertine in addition to the pool coping and step treads were built with Moca Travertine. The pavilion is completed with Azek synthetic trims and columns, vinyl soffits, and siding to match the existing house. Lastly, a mesh safety fence was installed around swimming pool.
Gunite Pool & Backyard Design-Southampton NY
This project was designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and installed by Gappsi for a private residence in Southampton, NY. The oversized lazy L-shaped gunite swimming pool is built in line with the house’s diagonal angles, complementing the modern look of the multi-level home. Each side of the swimming pool makes for perfect view from all the windows in the house.
Gunite swimming pools, besides being very beautiful, are also very functional and can include many different features. This Gunite Pool & Backyard Design includes a large sundeck with 12 inches of water for chairs and benches in the shallow area. An elevated spa was also added in the center of the sundeck with a spill over on all four sides. LED lights were also added throughout the pool, and the pool surface consists of Diamond Brite Tahoe Blue quartz finish. The edge of the pool was finished with blue stone coping and waterline porcelain tiles, and the pool was fitted with a saltwater chlorine generator system and a propane gas heater.
The surrounding of the pool was completed with a patio to compliment the swimming pool layout, and was built with limestone natural pavers. Laminar deck jet water features were placed around the pool creating a park-like effect in the day, and at night, a stream of light travels through the water spilling in the swimming pool. The deep end of the gunite swimming pool is regulation for diving with an 8-foot gray colored diving board and a flight deck base. The rest of the backyard was completed with sod and tree installation. This backyard was designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and installed by the Gappsi team. The gunite swimming pool has a rectangular shell with a bench on the long side of the pool, a sundeck with a bubbler, steps, and a spa. Spillover water bowls also function as fire features. The swimming pool is 8 feet deep, and includes a diving board and a safety auto cover. The backyard is elegant, functional, and simple. The Fiorito travertine patio for the fire pit area, the pavilion floor, and the pool patio area were bordered with blue stone strips to match the swimming pool coping. The pavilion was built by Gappsi and was designed to match the house style and details. The outdoor kitchen was built with Wolf cabinets and Twin Eagle appliances, and it was veneered with Fiorito travertine to match the pillars that hold the fire bowls and the fire-pit. When the client decided to create an entertaining backyard. They contacted us to design a backyard paradise. We discussed many ideas and looked at different layouts. Working together we designed a plan that gave the clients what we were looking for at a budget they could afford. We put ideas in to a 3D layout so the clients could see what the project was going to look like. The project construction began with building the swimming pool, then the masonry work and a very functional pool house, where the clients eat dinner all summer long. The project included a hot tub and fire pit to keep backyard fun going all year long and it also included a half-court basketball court which they use all the time.
