Backyard renovated in Smithtown NY
This is a complete backyard renovation. We replaced all the natural grass with the synthetic grass. Patio and Walkway were installed with G44 Gappsi Limestone. At the beginning we did an enclosed area as a dog run. As we go through the backyard the pool patio is all surrounded by limestone and synthetic grass. The fire pit with a marble top. All the columns for the pavilion were veneered with the silver travertine very close matching colors to the blue limestone. The coping of the pool is a 2 inch thick limestone. The outdoor kitchen is under the pavilion, all veneered with random large size silver travertine tumbled veneer. There is a bar area on this side completed with smoker, sink and storage cabinets. The entire backyard was completed with synthetic grass. Even the slide was installed over the grass and secured into a concrete base. Free maintenance backyard. This gunite pool was remodeled. We installed one inch by one inch tiles and on mash sheets. The pool finish is a dark gray marble dust which reflects the color of the sky very well. we installed new coping of silver travertine and also the all patio was repaved with silver travertine french pattern. We installed a wood burning fire pit area in the grass and we built a 16×16 pavilion with the exposed beams on the inside stained in a mahogany color with 8×8 inch columns and gutters. We completed this project about 4years ago. We installed a new gunite pool 16×36 with a bluestone coping, auto cover and a fiorito travertine patio. The pool has a sundeck. We have lined the steps edges with glass tiles. You can see they reflect light from one side. The pool is a sports pool. The deep end of the pool is the center. This side we have corner stairs. There is a bar area with stools inside the pool. In the lower patio area, chairs can be used as stools on the outside. This is a sunken fire pit area with a bench and gas fire pit. On this we have a semi raised patio. The property slopes so the pool was built a step down from the original house patio. This is a gas fire pit used more as an accent and this is also a sitting area. The property sits on a beautiful lake. The house is about 100 years old. We faced the walls of the pool to match the original bricks of the house to make it look like it’s been here as long as the house has been here. This is our latest outdoor kitchen. It was built with Eldorado prefab cabinets and veneered with travertine tumbled fiorito veneer. Also the walkway around was a new extension to the old patio and was also paved with fiorito travertine. that is our exclusive natural stone color of travertine G036. We also used tanbrown as the counter top polished granite. There is a footrest at the bottom and the stools go over right under the overhang of the granite. We also incorporated the backyard stoop as part of the new layout. We installed all Twin Eagle appliances. The icemaker , summer refrigerator, a bar sink, a burner and a grill combination and a 36“ gas grill.
