An auto cover is one of the best investments you can make when you own a pool, especially in areas where the swim season is not that long. It also works as a sanitizer where the raining water does not get mixed into the pool. The chemicals will never get unbalanced. It comes with a special pump you can just drop on top of the cover and it will pump water from the top of the cover. An auto cover gives you the freedom to design your own backyard. You don’t have to protect yourself, so you don’t have to install a fence between your entrance to the backyard and the pool area. So if your heater is running it will run for less time. If you don’t have the heater the temperature of the pool will be 10 to 15 degrees hotter than of a pool without the auto cover. This hose is connected to the pump and the water gets pumped out of the pool into the lawn. All This water would have been inside the pool and would have unbalanced the chemicals, the filter would have been backwashed and you would have to add new DE to the filter along with the other chemicals to balance the water chemistry. An auto cover is the best investment you can make when you own a pool, especially in Nord East or areas where the season is very short. This job was completed and installed by Gappsi including pool patio, with G045 travertine and the pool house. In this part of the video today is a very sunny day. Great day to use the pool. After 3 days of rain all the water was pumped out of the auto cover. The water chemistry never changed, with the homeowner you will enjoy the pool without the hassle of cleaning it. Laurel Hallow Gunite renovation and bluestone patioThis is a gunite remodel in Laurel Hollow NY. The old gunite bond beam was replaced almost two feet down and the pool was rebuilt. We anchored new rebars to the existing shell and rebuilt the bond beam that was cracked around the entire pool. We installed new coping and a new bluestone patio. This is New York full color bluestone. The coping was a custom cut radius for the curbs in the pool. This spa was totally rebuilt in the exact same shape with also custom cut bluestone and natural stone veneer. And also custom bluestone was cut for the radius corners and steps. For the inside of the pool, in the water line we used mosaic looking tiles, glass tiles and we also used them to accent the edges of the steps. The finish of the pool is a hydrazzo finish which was acid, washed and polished. The hidrazo has a white base color with blue sparkles throughout. Once it is exposed with the acid the bluespark shows up and it reflects the sky color into the pool, this gives the pool an aqua color.

Backyard Renovation Huntington NY G040 Marble PaversThis was a complete backyard pool area renovation in Huntington NY. Both the pool and spa were finished with super blue diamond bright, with 6 inches porcelain tiles in the water line. The spa is also equipped with an autocover. The all backyard patio was paved with Gappsi G040 marble pavers. We installed two inches thick coping on the spa, swimming pool and steps and wall caps. We installed glass tiles on the edges of the steps and the bench. 6 Led laminars spilling into the pool , 3 on each side of the. In the deep end we build a raised platform in place of the diving board. We installed 3 three ft led sheer descends under the coping of the platform. The platform was built and veneered with silver travertine. We also installed 2 led electrical spillover water balls. The steps and columns were accented with wall washer lights. Beautiful job and magnificent view of this long island north shore home. The installation of the patios was done on concrete base and G040 marble pavers were installed on one inch of fine sand, polymeric sand was installed and vibrated in between the pave joints to fill the spaces. The all pool was replumbed with new 2 inches poly pipes, a new gas heater and new air blower was added to the existing equipment.the overall effect of the water features added to the pool compliment the great water view of the long island sound.
