This gunite swimming pool was in need of a full remodeling , it was built with a gunite spa attached to it but worked separately, Gappsi combined the swimming pool and spa to work together, allowing the water from spa to overflow in to the pool and utilizing the same equipment including pumps filter and heater. The pool plumbing was replaced and new pvc plumbing was installed, with all new lights, tiles and light gray marble dusting. All existing clay brick patio and coping was replaced with Gappsi limestone pavers, project was located in East Northport Suffolk County Long Island NY.
East Hampton Gunite Swimming Pool Company
East Hampton Gunite Swimming Pool Designer & Builder. This gunite swimming pool was designed and installed by Gappsi in East Hampton, NY. This pool design is a classic Hampton style with clean straight lines and bluestone coping for both the swimming pool and spill-over spa. The inside of the swimming pool incorporates corner steps and a straight bench along the 38 ft side of the swimming pool and on both sides of the spa. Bluestone coping was custom-cut 2 inches thick, 24 inches wide, and flamed. The pool coping and patio between pool and pool house was built with bluestone flagging. The gunite shell beam was shot 24 inches wide to accommodate the bluestone coping. And as a more classical look for the Hamptons area, natural grass was installed up to the edge of the pool coping.
Gunite Swimming Pool & Backyard Designer in Merrick NY
This small backyard was designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and installed by Gappsi in Merrick, Long Island NY in 2018 on a spectacular waterfront property. The layout incorporates a gunite swimming pool with a spa, corner stairs, benches, and sheer descent water features that were installed along one side of the pool facing the house. The pool also has a safety auto cover, automation system, LED lights, salt chlorine generator, and an ozone system.
The pool finish consists of Diamond Brite French Gray with tile markers installed at the edges of the steps and benches. Pennsylvania blue-stone was used for the coping and the patio was paved with Pompeii limestone selected from Gappsi showroom. A gas fire pit was installed on the circular shaped patio and Acadia Go-Green synthetic turf was used to cover the remaining yard space. The deck was modified to accommodate the new backyard layout.

This backyard was designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and installed by the Gappsi team. The gunite swimming pool has a rectangular shell with a bench on the long side of the pool, a sundeck with a bubbler, steps, and a spa. Spillover water bowls also function as fire features. The swimming pool is 8 feet deep, and includes a diving board and a safety auto cover. The backyard is elegant, functional, and simple. The Fiorito travertine patio for the fire pit area, the pavilion floor, and the pool patio area were bordered with blue stone strips to match the swimming pool coping. The pavilion was built by Gappsi and was designed to match the house style and details. The outdoor kitchen was built with Wolf cabinets and Twin Eagle appliances, and it was veneered with Fiorito travertine to match the pillars that hold the fire bowls and the fire-pit.
