This 6×6 porcelain tiles we installed over 2 inches of mud floor and glued with thinset. Being in a tight area and with many drains to collect the water when floor gets washed the small 6×6 tiles best fit the slopes. Floor joists had to be reinforced and secured with extra lumber, to be able to handle the extra weight of the new floor and the commercial kitchen equipment. This custom built outdoor kitchen includes all outdoor cooking amenities to entertain family and guests during all summer events. The kitchen was built with masonry blocks and veneered with scogli di mare limestone for walls and scogli di mare countertop – a limestone that contains sea shells and natural fossils showing on its surface. This outdoor kitchen was built in a U shape layout. It incorporates many amenities such as twin eagle appliances, pizza oven, outdoor refrigerator, ice makers, cook top and a bar sink. The colorful out door lighting creates a inviting atmosphere for friends and family. The shell was veneered with Fiorito veneer travertine selected from the Gappsi natural stone collection. The vinyl, free form pool incorporates a wall with sheer descends. The backyard was designed with a deck and paving stone patio. Designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and installed by Gappsi.
