They are manufactured in 3’4 inch thick to save on raw material, since they are not driven over, ¾ of inch thick will have enough strength for slabs to be used as veneers to be cut in very large sizes.

The type of stone determents to what sizes the slabs would be , because granite is very ductile and can be cat in large slabs and the slabs would be still be strong and not brake travertine w or sand stone or any other soft stone can’t be cut in very large slabs unless the thickness of the slabs increases .

Tiles Packing – 10 mm & 12 mm thick modular tiles are first packed in Styrofoam Boxes and are further packed into Wooden Crates. Wooden Crate is fixed and tightened by Iron Strips.
The polished slabs and tiles are carefully packaged for the long journey to the Customers’ sites. Especially designed thermocol boxes are used to pack the tiles of 10mm and 12mm thicknesses. The 20mm tiles are packed in strong wooden boxes, covered by a protective transparent polythene sheet. The random and cut to size slabs are packed in sea worthy heavy-duty wooden frames. The extreme care exercised in packing goes a ong way to prevent any chance breakage and loss during the transit.

pool liner was coming off | advise help | long island
Hi Scott, A few weeks ago you closed our pool (in Smithtown). We wanted to mention to you when you were here that our pool liner was coming off in one spot near the diving board. Is this something that can be fixed? The pool is just two years old it is disappointing this is happening. Could you or someone take a look perhaps in the offseason during the fall when things for you slow down? It can easily be seen if you lift off the cover by the diving board. If not during the fall can it be looked at when the cover is removed in the spring? Hopefully this can be fixed. Thanks.

Hello Tom and Linda not to worry, this is a normal thing that happens and only I have to do is adjust it witch can be done in the spring when we open the swimming pool.
after the first year the liner is finally starched and it came off the track only because it was pulling from it for a while, the way I will fixe the liner is by using a heat gun to make relaxed and stretch and it will never come off again . it is like making the liner bigger to reach the track better
