The original bocce courts were built with a clay surface and the residents in this gated community complained for years about the pour drainage that the courts had. On some days, they were not even able to use the courts because they were not fully dry. After the removal of the clay, and the installation of the new synthetic grass surface, the residents have been playing on the courts every day.
