We completed this project about 4years ago. We installed a new gunite pool 16×36 with a bluestone coping, auto cover and a fiorito travertine patio. The pool has a sundeck. We have lined the steps edges with glass tiles. You can see they reflect light from one side. The pool is a sports pool. The deep end of the pool is the center. This side we have corner stairs. There is a bar area with stools inside the pool. In the lower patio area, chairs can be used as stools on the outside. This is a sunken fire pit area with a bench and gas fire pit. On this we have a semi raised patio. The property slopes so the pool was built a step down from the original house patio. This is a gas fire pit used more as an accent and this is also a sitting area. The property sits on a beautiful lake. The house is about 100 years old. We faced the walls of the pool to match the original bricks of the house to make it look like it’s been here as long as the house has been here. Just completed this backyard project in Dix Hills NY. We installed Fiorito travertine for the entire backyard. We built a new stoop in a semicircle shape by the backyard sliding door and build a 16×16 Pavilion. All faced with synthetic wood columns and ceiling all covered, We built a new breeo fire pit zentro stainless steel and veneered with all fiorito travertine rock face. We remodeled the entire pool. Installed the new 2 inch coping same travertine coping porcelain tiles in pool waterline and tile marks on the steps and plastered the pool with dark gray marble dust. We also installed the slide. This is our latest outdoor kitchen. It was built with Eldorado prefab cabinets and veneered with travertine tumbled fiorito veneer. Also the walkway around was a new extension to the old patio and was also paved with fiorito travertine. that is our exclusive natural stone color of travertine G036. We also used tanbrown as the counter top polished granite. There is a footrest at the bottom and the stools go over right under the overhang of the granite. We also incorporated the backyard stoop as part of the new layout. We installed all Twin Eagle appliances. The icemaker , summer refrigerator, a bar sink, a burner and a grill combination and a 36“ gas grill. We built a 13×90 regulation bocce court. The construction was done with pressure treated lumber as a framer around the entire court. A recycled concrete base and bluestone to level the surface. Gappsi bocce grass was used as the surface and filled with silica sand. This synthetic turf was custom made specifically for Gappsi.
