This front yard natural stone walkway and wall veneer were installed in Hauppauge, NY 11788. The walkway is 150 square feet and the wall veneer is 80 square feet of Fiorito travertine. Installation of the walkway was constructed with a recycled concrete base and a layer of fine sand. The wall veneer was installed on a wire mesh nailed to plywood and waterproof membrane with type S mortar cement mix. The sealing process begins with pressure washing the entire patio, removing all dirt/debris from the stone surface and in between the joints. Next, Nexgel Techniseal synthetic sand is applied in between the pavers joints and vibrated with a mechanical plate compactor. The plate compactor has rubber rollers to prevent the stones from cracking or scratching. This vibrating process allows the sand to fall in between the joints and density.
