“Giuseppe Abbrancati I can’t tell you enough how pleased we are with the pool, patio, fireplace and retaining wall Gappsi built. The difference in our property has been tremendous. We have received so many compliments and one of the best and “most frequent compliments” is the backyard should be in a magazine. We love it even in the winter when the pool was closed its magnificent. Regarding the construction and all the aspects from beginning to end I can’t stress enough how “stress less” this was. From the time of our first appointments with Giuseppe right to the completion, we received everything we contracted for and more. I have been involved with construction many, many times and we never ever had to come home to find something was not done right. The excavation, pool walls, leveling, removal of dirt, trees, forms, electric, gravel delivery, stone delivery, design of patio, fireplace, outdoor kitchen walls, stone decorative walls, coping and every other piece of the project completely 100% of the time we never had a problem with the completion not being exactly as we discussed during our appointments. We had many different aspects and the crew was one of the most professional and especially expert in their trade. The pool was completed to perfection including the stairs, stone, lights, filter, heater and liner (without any wrinkles in the final installation). The electric pool cover was something we had not originally planned for and we are so happy it was explained to us. If we had not done the electric pool cover, we would constantly be cleaning and heating the pool. Again it was a slight challenge due to the extended size of the pool, but attention to every detail and research was done to be sure it would be implemented correctly. It was and it is well worth the extra cost because it saves in the long run. I would highly recommend this. Giuseppe promised to deliver the entire package with the various experts all pulling together and he did. I would more than highly recommend GAPPSI in pools, patios and any home improvement contract is works on. This is like the academy awards Giuseppe! I hope I have mentioned everyone and all aspects of the job to thank everyone involved. It was PERFECT! As I mentioned before, I have been involved in home improvement in the past and totally know how contracting can go wrong from ideas to the crew themselves. This private residence located on Long Island, NY features the design & installation by Gappsi Group. The focus of the design is centered around the rectangular Gunite pool, natural blue stone patio and deck jets. The surrounding patio is a natural stone, and the design is completed with outdoor furniture and lighting accents. All construction and installation was completed by our highly skilled Gappsi Group team members.
T shaped swimming pool designed by Giuseppe Abbrancati and built by Gappsi in Smithtown NY, 11787. This swimming pool is a very special pool, not only it’s beautiful, but it is also very functional and energy efficient. The layout of the backyard incorporates raised and pool area travertine patios, hot tub spa, travertine veneered walls with 2 inches travertine copings and plenty of space for tables and chairs. The T shaped swimming pool is very functional it has a very large diving deep end area making it very safe for professional diving, it has steps in deep end for easy access and exit, it has steps along the shallow area to access the pool but also serve as sitting benches for bathers that just want to sit in water, the shallow are its perfect valley ball play area like no other pool shape would offer and all these provided with less the 800 sq ft of surface making it cost effective when running the heather and the pumps to circulate the water.
Gunite swimming pool was constructed with 10 inches concrete wall shell and 8 inches gunite floor. With ½ inches rebar 12 inches on center, radiuses built in gunite shell spa has been built in the center of shallow end with sundecks on each side of it with steps that lead in the pool. Along both side of the 40 ft wall a stand ledge was created in the pool floor to allow small kids to cross the pool by walking on it. The deep end of the swimming pool incorporates 2 sets of corner stairs and a bench connecting them both.
Natural Waterfall built with moss rocks and a spill over into a large free formed swimming pool incorporating a custom dolphin slide with natural step risers to an elevated platform create a spectacular landscape background behind this custom vinyl swimming pool built by Gappsi in a residential gated community in Smithtown NY 11787.
